We love to capture the true beauty of the wedding day, telling the story of the first morning smiles, best friends in awe of you, as you lavish your senses this day like no other. So many plans, so many people, so many surprises... Every last moment is magnificent, and we'll be there. All day means just that, no time limits, no extra hourly fees, and no regrets. Because every wedding is as unique as the bride and groom, we don't take shortcuts when making a unique wedding video. Technical aspects will be finalized, and we will be looking for every possible creative angle, giving special attention to the details you have so carefully planned. Our presence at the rehearsal also allows the bridal party and closest family to become comfortable in front of the camera, creating a naturally beautiful finished product. We work with a minimum of two broadcast quality video cameras on fluid tripods. Additional cameras are ideal for editing flexibility and maximum creativity. Other types of camera stabilization equipment can be used on a per case basis. Our videographers are experienced and maintain a dedication to the art and science of videography. We value ongoing education and diversification to be able to bring you our very best. We work as a husband/wife core team, which means we can read eachother's minds (ha ha) and be sensitive to the needs of the bride and groom. Quality sound is just as important as a crytal clear video image. To achieve this, it is necessary for us to fully understand the audio plans for your ceremony and reception prior to your rehearsal. This includes speaking, live music and/or DJ, as well as any special presentations. We will prepare microphones for video recording purposes. We will work with your plans, and cover all the bases. Journalistic/Cinematic Editing The idea behind a journalistic video, called 'long form,' is to capture the most activity and atmosphere into a movie or documentary. This is ideal for most of the ceremony as there are often sentimental details that would be cut otherwise. Cinematic, or 'short form,' editing is used to condense the highlights into an elegant snapshot much like a music video. Done effectively, it can be a very creative interpretation of events such as the photo session or social mingling and dancing. We will use both forms to give you the best story of your wedding day. There is no template to squeeze you into, so we'll be designing the menus, titles, disc face and hard case jacket cover from scratch using your wedding as our inspiration. We often work with your photographer to get access to their best artwork (giving them due credit, of course). We use the highest quality materials which are tested and guaranteed. You'll be proud to keep a copy on your movie shelf for friends to enjoy. Similar to a photographer's Engagement Session, we'll meet in a special place (park, garden, cafe, etc...) to capture your relationship with interviews and clips of the two of you together. The video will be put together with two or three of your favorite songs and 50 photos of your childhood through dating. This is a great way to introduce the bride and groom at the beginning of the ceremony or to show your guests while you are busy with the photographer. Don't forget to ask about our projection services. Within the first few weeks after the wedding and honeymoon, we'll get together again for a follow-up interview. Let's discover the new Mr. & Mrs. and your thoughts about the wedding, the honeymoon and married life thus far. What did everyone miss that touched your heart? What made you laugh? Capture those memories on video while they are still so fresh in your mind. Time spent with just your closest friends and family can be especially sentimental. If you are planning such an occassion for loved ones to share stories and best wishes to toast to, you will want it recorded as part of your wedding celebration. There is so little time for all of your guests to share just how much you mean to them, and of course tell you their best marital advice. While they wait for your grand entrance and after you've left, let your guests gather in front of an extra camera to serve that purpose and create more fun. Send your best honeymoon photos and video to us to be edited into an exciting show of all the romance and adventure of the newlyweds. Your montage will be packaged with your wedding DVD. A collection of photos from the bride's and groom's lives will be elegantly woven together with your favorite music. Again, this is a great way to entertain your guests while you are busy with the photographer or show at the ceremony or reception. In keeping on the leading edge of technology, all of our features are available in high definition. The crisp, better-than-life, quality of high definition paired with your wedding video will be an impressive addition to your movie collection. And while the norm is still standard digital video, our culture is eager to adopt HD (our grandkids won't know what SD was!). The key moments of your wedding day up until the ceremonial kiss will be edited into a highlight video for you to show on the big screen during your reception. This is an excellent way to cap off a Love Story Video or to share an exclusive ceremony with all your friends at the big party. Give your bridal party and grandparents the gift of a lifetime! Your wedding highlights (cinematic) video will be just enough to watch over and over again. This video will be between 15 and 30 minutes long, mostly to your music, with and special 'Thank You' message to your friends and loved ones. |
